(i also have 8300) if he has the OE motherboard then NOTHING can be adjusted, trust me ive tried, mine came with the P4 3.4ghz chip.

BFV hasnt been properly uninstalled through add/remove programs in control panel leaving some entries in the registry. just go to this link and download the registry cleaner. Search for Battlefield vietnam and remove all those entries and you will be able to reinstall the game

Everything on my pc with the name "Battlefield" in it has been deleted, i have tried browsing the cd and installing it that way but with no luck.

if i put in cd1 as if i was going to install the game, i get the install box but "install" is faded out its as if its detecting that the game is already ...

My pc shuts itself down and restarts for no reason? i get no error message or anything...just "BAM" the soding thing restarts on its own, ive scanned for viruses/ spywhere...clean! it does this even when i install a fresh copy of windows!!!

ok heres the update to my problem....Guess what? I disabled the VPU Recovery in the ATI console, played the game for quite a long time yesterday (sunday) and everything was fine, the game played normaly. )lets see if it stays that way)

ok heres the problem..

i did have a problem regarding the sound files..since then i have reformated my HD, and went out and bought a NEW copy of COD, i did think all was well but now i have a different problem, during gameplay cod will freeze! stops dead for no reason then i have to restart the pc ...

i copied the contents of both cd's to a folder when i bought the game a few months ago, but now when i try to install CD-2 nothing happens?

after i burn the files to cd's using Nero express this is what happens

ok heres the problem, a while ago i bought "Call Of Duty" the first thing i did was to make a backup of the disc by exploring the contents, right clicking and then "copy", i coppied it to a new folder. i now need to burn it to cd due to the original Cd being lost.

Cd 1 burns ok...CD 2 burns ok..BUT ...
