i know that but others that ive met show they cant get that to change... was just wondering if anyone else had this problem or knew how to fix it

RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits

For some reason when I try to change my scaling, it always stays at 0. Others have tried this with the same result, was wondering if anyone had a answer for why this is happening or if they had a fix for this. Thanks in advance.

I had no problems loading ramdisk in xp,..... is something else going wrong other than running it in xp?

I am willing to try this crazyman tweak, but I am having a problem. When I go to back-up my registry it does it fine, but the test importing just doesn't work. It will load till the end and then a error pops up saying something like "Cannot import registry some keys are open." what the hell is that ...

earthmofo, damnit i didnt see a difference... im going insane... i have tried every rwin from 1460 - 113,000 and POOP! arg.... all i ask is to stay at 1450... and have a download of 120....arg....

thanks, i just got a new nic and modem. my upload speed has improved alot, its kinda stable at 123... still cant get download better

joecool, anyway you could waste a whole bunch of time explaining what those other settings in cablenut do? i have a feeling that i play with some of them, i can get my speed up... so far when i play with settings either they get unstable or they suck... i dont think ive gaine a 1k with the tips ive ...

im just going insane, im doing trail and errors on rwins, but what about the other settings? i mean rwin cant just be the only thing that will give me something good... arg sucks when ur uneducated in tweaking...

hmmm ill play with it in a bit, ill try 6 digit ones, the people at dslreports.com for some odd reason always, i mean always, tell me that 37900 err 37600 damnit one of those values, are the one I should use. Im not sure if they know what they are talking about, you think i should listen to them?

Ive gone from 10x1460 to 35x1460 and nothing really changes, im thinking maybe one of those other settings could help, but what the hell do I know anyway.

I have spent 2 or 3 days playing with my Rwin. I can't seem to find anything that will help my connection. Is there anyone here who can help me and give it a try one more time? I am beggining to think that I need some other setting changed other than rwin.

is the mss/mtu the only thing that really matters when trying to tweak for more speed? right now I am pretty sure I have a good setup, although I would like 50k more on download and about 10k on upload... here are my results, take a look and please tell me if you have any suggestions
