There are no more available options. What i have been suggested in case of non-availability of Port-Forwarding option in a combo modem is to use it as a bridge thus forwarding all traffic to my pc and use some software to control PPPoE and Firewall.

The thing is that i have tried port forwarding on my router and it is still unaccessible from outside. So i wanted to know what all is happening so i could understand it better. My ports are open, i have proper entries in the windows firewall but still for some reason i am invisible from outside ...

I thought the reason for having a router was to cope with the situation of having more machines than the available IP in IPv4, that is why the new version IPv6 is being developed.
And if we start looking at every thing as illegal (hacking), then there is no point of having this forum, don't u think ...
