Im looking for some overclock settings to try on my video card. I've tried some different settings and i really dont see any real gain in performance.

If you download the Omega drivers it comes with a nice overclocking app. I can't remember the other names but they are something like Rage3d etc. Just do a web search for 8500 overclocking.

I have the same card and can run it stable 290/275

If you want to overclock it beyond what you can do with a software package, you need to flash the bios. You will see higher overclocking potential.

Check out rage3d.com for info and how to do it.
