Ping statistics for above hosts:
Packets: Sent = 15, Received = 9, Lost = 6 (40% loss)
Approximate round trip times (RTT) in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 549ms, Maximum = 769ms, Average = 362ms

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which is equal to MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 513920
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 3 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 64240
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 20556.8 kbps (2569.6 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 8222.72 kbps (1027.84 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 54 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

Man I still have not been able to fix my problem. My speed its really really bad. I keep calling attbi tech suppor and this people dont know sh$t. Maybe you guys could tell me why I keep having this problem.

Those are horrible ping times!!! Do a tracert to Speed Guide and post the results here in a reply to this thread.

Have you tried a lower RWIN Value? Try 32120, 51120 or 64240. For RWIN's below 65535 be sure to set Tcp1320pts to 0.

Change the "Autosense" setting in your network card to either "10baseT" or "10Mbps/half duplex".

Lower the DefaultReceiveWindow(RWIN) value to 256960.

Your ping times are indeed horrible. Mine average about 50ms.

10BaseT, it's on their, NOT 100 or auto sense as it detects 10:)

I have Linksy's version 5 and it says 10BaseT, yours may not, but be sure it's 10 Half Duplex as it says above :)

Lobo:

My Linksys LNE100TX v5 network card only gives me the "10baseT" option. It gives me the "full duplex" option, but doesn't give me the "half duplex" option, so I have it set from "autosense" to "10baseT".

The website or ip you used seems to be a very slow host. When I pinged it, I averaged 162ms -- I usually average 20-25ms. Try using another site such as speed guide or optonline.net .
