PowerDVD works fine for me. I have heard that WinDVD is good also.

I use WinDVD, and I don't seem to have any problems with it. I have tried PowerDVD, and that worked very well as well too, but I decided to stick with WinDVD because it came with my computer, and PowerDVD was a demo.

I believe that they both should perform equally well.

Power DVD is what I use but I would recomend a hardware decoder first.

I personally use a hardware decoder (Hollywood Plus), but for a software decoder I say PowerDVD.
