Linksys
for the router - befw11s4 - connects to dsl/cable and gives wireless access as well 4 hard ports (or wap11 if you only want wireless, but for the price get the one with the 4 ports for wired as well)
for the latop - wpc11 wireless card
for the desktop - any old ethernet card, or wpm11 if you want that wireless as well

You may want to try this...
http://www.intel.com/network/connectivi ... 5000family
It's faster and has a greater range than 802.11b...

Go with the linksys brand, intel can't even get P4s to work right, but be careful if going wireless and have 2.4ghz telephones in the same house...
