how do i increase my RAM to prevent system hang ?

RAM is hardware... the only way to increase it is by buying more RAM... RAM is cheap nowadays... My system currently has 640MB of RAM w/Windows XP.. runs smooth.. but I think more=better :)

P.S. RAM wont help internet speed.

Show me a before and after shot of a download. It only helps loading of webpages, not acutal transfer speed.

over 500+ megs of ram could slow down your cpu, if you have a slow chip
My cable sucks...
