I got an early Christmas present

Post by brembo »

Today a client paid up, thats not odd, but for this job is sure was. The client had purchased many Popeye fast food restaurants, and the deal went sour, and we never got paid. We had written the work off, and never really expected the cash. We, today a nice fat check rolled in. Guess whos employees are gettin a digit or two added to thier Christmas bonuses? My guys outta really be pleased, I didn't tell em, so they outta be happy tomorrow. I know I'm happy....hmm what to get my dad?

Anyways, y'all have an excellent week, mine just a whole lot better. :)

If you have any extra to spare, I could use a nice (legal)copy of MS Flight Simulator 2002 Pro, since Macho Module won't get it for me. :D

To be a surveyor tech, you have to be able to pull a chain with one hand and use the other hand to key the radio… all the time looking through the theodolite. 66 links to a chain… but does anyone use chains anymore?

If we used chains, I'd be an IT guy. We use laser distance meters.

Check was "significant", I don't know if I should post its size. There was a lawsuit involved, and other mitigating factors.
