I need a simple but fun jet fighter game...

I love the look of that new one out for the PS2, even though I can't remember the name of it lol...anywho...I love flying games but I'm looking for one for the PC which doesn't require the use of 10 zillion buttons or key stokes and uses simple joystick or gamepad controls...just like on a PS2. TIA

in the vein of Ace Combat 4...maybe there is something out there similar for the PC????

One of my favorites is an old game. It is A-10 Cuba. Most flight sims are so realistic, that you have to read a book to operate them. This sim is different. I have been a pilot for years, and really enjoy this one over the new high tech ones. Download the demo and check it out!

i have it but wanted a "jet" fighting game.

give nova logic's F16 Multirole Fighter a try. i think it is coming with mig 29 these days too, so it's a bargain...if you're into wwii sims, european air war is a must and it has a huge community to support it.

Not exactly a "jet fighting game", but if you like flight combat try Freespace 2. Granted it is a couple of years old, but it is an awesome game.

There are many awesome flight sims out there but all the good ones are complex and difficult for some to learn...If you still want some awesome titles (WARNING=COMPLEX) I can give em too ya. Just reply

mig alley puts you behind a sabre so no missles etc, just guns and plenty of thrust so it don't take ya three hours to climb 1000ft.
thats the last one i played like that, there gotta be more out there,i just hate those games where enemy is 50 miles away u lock a missle and fire,great fun eh
