that's even worse..
no manual...
manuals are hella more fun to drive..(if you know how to drive one that is)
I remember when I first got my license I drove my dads small pickup truck for a while manual, god I hated it...
after I learned it I loved it..

Like my car. If you wanted the fastest IROC you had to get a auto. 350 = Automatic 305=Stick

I drive a automatic :p

4th gen camaros you can get a 350 stick :)

When I race, I usually put it in 1 and shift through the gears myself.

Old cars get the chips.
New cars are reprogrammed now.
Effect still the same.

For true hard shifting,
One must get TransGo shift kit;
1-2 shift burnout!

Ghost-SS has one
Not just chirp tires on 1-2,
Instead does burnout.

Two questions: :)

1) Does it also shift super hard when driving it normal? Or does it only shift super hard at WOT?

2)"Not just chirp tires on 1-2,

How big of a burnout? Wouldnt that slow you down?

Just curious, Im getting a shift kit for Christmas :D

Thanks Ghost

CHevy's coming out with their new Thunder package or something....supercharged silverado

or the old Sy/Ty's are sweet....but way too expensive, cuz people think they can sell them for a lot, since they are rare or something :rolleyes: :D

LIghtening is cool, but I hate the look of F150s in general....they need to put a built 350 S/C in the Ranger....lower it, put some 17's on it, dual exhaust, now that would be a sweet truck.

Ok, I've looked, and I'm sold...that truck is a fine lookin, horsepower beast!

I can't believe it actually comes with the DVD and video game systems as options....IMO, I love having my huge stereo system, but I'm in a car to drive, not to play games, or watch movies, that's what my home is for. It's a cool feature, but not for me.

here's a 4x4 monster for ya.Image

Sexy Car!!!!!!!
Shift firmness varies;
Throttle input determines.
Soft or hard, your choice.

Washers in the kit
Shall determine max shift thrash;
Three washers - hardest.

Ghost-SS has three;
But also tall rear-end gears
Help with the burnout.

Also has trick trans
One notch below full drag race;
Thousands spent on trans.

A loss of traction
Will slow down any race car;
You are correct here.

However, that said,
Quick shift puts me in power band;
R-P-M loss slight.

The one-two burnout
Intimidates and is fun.
It's purpose for me.

Back end gets squirrely
As the trans shifts to second.
Cool as sh!t to feel.

Remember Haiku
5, 7, 5 syllables
Line one to line three.

Cost of tires quite high

yeah the new ones look cool on the cars, but on that truck it just looks bad, if they just made it a car with those taillights, they would be cool.

I took those pics last winter when my friend bought that truck. I posted them once here loooong time ago. You can see my reflection on this pic.

It's a kick ass truck and he's got a sweet SeaDoo to go with that.
