You should leave it at home till your mature and old enough to wield such a monster knife.

Those things are dangerous. No telling what it could do to you just jangling around in your pocket.

To semi quote from A Christmas Story," you'll slice your nads off, dude!"

I know,it's not an old saying ,but it's an old rule!...lol
knifes arent only for hurting people.. it works VERY well for cutting things.. you have no idea how many times ive used it in the last 4 days (got it 4 days ago) just for misc. uses

When I lived on the streets I ALWAYS carried a knife everywhere I went. You can carry a pretty hefty knife if ya want BUT it CANNOT be concieled. You have to wear a sheath and it MUST be visible so you cannot be arrested for carrying a concieled weapon

I had anywhere from 1 1/2 to close to 6 1/2 inch knives and never got busted for them .. the cops always complimented how nice my knives were...lol My favorite knife was an Old Timser... it's like 3 inch long and has a shaply curve to it.. I loved that knife!

We all know that the USMC Kabar is the best knife ever. Especially the 1999 re-issue with black steel and 100% leather case. the knife comes with blood groove to. Only about 60 buks to. I have an old Cold Steel Tanto blade to that got me out of some sticky situations.

I run around with a 22" machette all the time. Cops don't even give me a second look. Granted I live in Western NC, I see guys with rifles all the time. But I would hazard to say that a sword would be legal, as long as you did not swing it around. Hard to conceal, and not much of a ranged weapon. Half the time I'm packin anyways. Keep a Ruger .22 Competion with rat shot in it. Darn snakes.

Am I the only one that found this highly comical?

They will not come to your house and confiscate your knife because it is too big dude.

If that were the case chefs all over the nation would be dicin veggies with 1 inch butter knives.

Shouldnt carry a knife, especially with corrupted cops here in southern Cali. They could turn nothing into something if they want to or if they dont like you. Besides, you dont really need a knife here; i mean if you're gonna get robbed, most likely it will be by gun point. If some thugs are going to jump you, most likely they will jump you in a group of 3 or more. IMO, a knife has the possibilities of getting you into more trouble than it has to help you. Unless you're only carrying it to look cool..

No offense to knife lovers :)

How long have I been at work? lol

I don't carry a knife and more, I used to carry this nice stilleto(sp?) but don't feel the need anymore. Akido is a good replacement. Although I do have a mini baseball bat in my truck and a steel pipe in my camaro (it's really there to hold my hood open).

A while back I got stopped for jay walking and the cops searched me for weapons and found my knife, the blade is 2.8 inches long and he said I had barely cleared the legal limit for concealing it so I'm going to assume the limit is 3 inches. I almost forgot to add that this was 3 days after my 18th birthday and he said I was lucky since minors are not allowed to carry knifes at all but this was a few years ago so I don't know if the same laws still apply.

They won't make you get rid of it, you just can't cary it. I sell knives of upto 32" long blades and no one has said anything about my selling them.
