Post by happyhaw99 »

the gf has a laptop and would like to use cable instead of dial up. I have the 4 port linksys router. But where do I hook up a nic for her? or do I need to come out of my computer via usb or some other connector or go inside to trade dial-up modem for nic? can somebody please explain how to do this, in laymans terms. In my box I do have a linksys 1 gig card and a 3 com 3c900 tpo. and she would like to have near same speeds so wireless is out. help
