Canada here I come...

Post by EvilAngel »

Hey guys my lady and I decided to go to Canada for our honeymoon and if it's not to much trouble could you direct us to some of the hot spots there?

Every picture of Canada is just so beautiful that I want to see it for myself but I have No clue as to where to go. We will settle for any type anything , we just want to visit ;)

While I'm at it, could any of you travelers give me some tips and suggestions on making the trip as painless as possible. You know, certain things that should be done prior to leaving the US and everything in between :)

TIA

Remember to go before you leave. A bottle chloroform, for those "deep" converations that spouses so enjoy. Mace, for mimes. Oh, and I found out last year that Hare Chrisnas do not like crossbows. Have fun too.

Depends on what kind of excitement your looking for, and what part of the county your thinking of. Each Province has its own neat things to see, are you looking for the nightlife, seclusion, Beaches or city, or the # 1 Honeymoon passtime, FISHING lol
Give us some hints so we can point you in the right direction

Ever been to the "Canadian Ballet"? Forget it, I don't think the wife would appreciate it! Although it would be a great place for your stag party.........:2cool:

Since your on the west coast, try heading up to Seattle, then venture your way up to Vancouver B.C., nice trip when I went there in 99'.

well... depends on where u plan to go...
ontario is pretty well rounded up...

we got nice lakes with beaches... not far there's toronto where u can see the famous cn tower and do some shopping! and lot's of entertainment too... like the playdium in mississauga (woo mississauga) they have go karts and everything...

or u can also go to paramount canada's wonderland.. it's a big big amusement park where u got all these rides and water parks... would be fun...

then u can go to niagara to see the famous falls and gamble there since there's casino niagara...

and for a place to stay... I suggest some hotel by the lake... there's quite a few just do a search on it..

there's also places where it's very quiet near the lake... u just gotta look for it.. heh..

After you check out vancouver drive to bamff, the rockies on the bc/alberta border. One of the most beautiful places on the planet, period, and some classic canadiana. As an east coster I hate to say this, but the west coast is canada. Between those two spots and the drive between them you'll see a gorgeous slice of the country.
Funny is when a fat lady walks around while someone plays the tuba. Once you've seen that, you'll never laugh at anything else. Except maybe a skeleton dancing around while someone plays the xylophone, which is almost exactly the opposite of a fat lady walking around while someone plays the tuba. Well, a skeleton is the opposite of a fat lady. But is a xylophone the opposite of a tuba? History will decide.

GO TO TORONTO!

Post by Blitz »

Hold up.

If u're going to Canada, GO TO TORONTO!!!!

Toronto is Canada's version of NYC.

Multicultural, big buildings, lots of people, big freeways (like L.A) :)

It has amazing sites, like Skydome, CN Tower, CN Exhibition, Ontario Place, Ontario Science Centre, Phantom of the Opera, Hockey Hall of Fame, Harbour Front, Air Canada Centre and so much more.

Its so awesome the first time you come here...

Plus, world famous Niagara Falls is only about 1 hour drive from here.

You will really like it here, and after u see Toronto, u can escape the big city by driving/taking a bus drive up north for a couple hours, and being able to stay in "cottage country".

Very peaceful and scenic, especially during the summer months.

Seriously, u gotta check out T.O dude.

Oh ya, there is also Canada's Wonderland half hour from Toronto, which is a kickass theme park. Great roller coasters and food.

There is also Playdium half hour away, which is an amazing arcade.

Hi EvilAngel

Canada is a Big Place.

West there is Vancouver Island, Victoria. quaint with a British Heritage, lovely scenery

quiet, could go Whale watching there. Take the ferry from Us across.

Vancouver City. Big exciting and very beautiful with the mountains etc.

the Train from Vancouver to Calgary is simply one of the most gorgeous scenic tours

ever.

Make sure it's the daylight tour you would take. otherwise it's a Dark forbiding place ;)

Toronto in Ontarion. Huge City, clean, all kinds of activities, World class Zoo,

Museums, Blue Jays, Cn Tower, one of the tallest structurers in the world.
the waterfront, great shopping etc.

the north Great beauty, quiet solitude.

Montreal, much Historical Heritage, French is the language of the Province, although English is spoken,

Great party City. beautiful women (Oh, sorry about that). the water etc.

East Coast, again beauty in it's own manner, tons of history and really laid back, nice people there.

of the lot. Probably either Toronto or Vancouver would be your best bets.

both can be expensive, but your buck is a 1.50 here so not bad really.

no matter where you choose it will be warm, friendly , exciting, beautiful & interesting

as your Bride will be right there with you

I wish You Both Well

An amusment park sounds like alot of fun... A zoo would be interesting as well.

Hi EvilAngel & the Future Evilette

Thanks for the kisses, from the future MRS., you i'm not so sure of John ;)

Well it looks like Vancouver. Bug is out on the island, havent seen him here for a bit?

the weather will be a little cool and rainy, but not too bad at that time of the year if memory serves.

certainly not cold. do wear anything too heavy, but bring a light waterproof jacket.

Old Town was a favorite spot of mine, and the Bayshore Hotel was great back then, i don't know what's hot there now.

great Sea Food resteraunts, Neptune was also a good one back then. a good place to walk. Stanley

Park is a really nice spot as well. it's right downtown more or less . Good night life

and some very upscale stores as well

you could rent a car and go up the coast or take the ferry over to the Island for a day or two.

lots to see and do

Whistler is a Famous ski resort not too far from Van.

Do a search for tourism info on

Vancouver , British Columbia, Canada

Vancouver Island, British Columbia as well perhaps

Van is onlt like a 20 min, drive to the US border Bellingham and the like

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Here are a few to mull over, also look up your Map site on Atomica ? maybe
