ISP usage

Post by satyre »

My ISP has a limit of 150GB per month and they charge $10 for the next 50GB. The problem is that even if we go few Kilo bytes above the 150GB limit, they charge $10.

I am looking for a program to track the Sent and Received Bytes on an Internet connection.

Any suggestion from your experience?

The Router is ASUS WL500W with latest firmware. The connection is AT&T DSL with modem SpeedStream 5360.

Only one PC with Vista 32 Ultimate. Nothing else.

I'd slap a 3rd party firmware on it like DD-WRT or Tomato (I prefer Tomato)...both allow good monitoring of traffic on the WAN pipe.
