utorrent too lazy

hi guys. i need a favor to my utorrent in my window xp.
very slow & sloth. i'm using netgear wg311v3 wireless PCI adapter.
my download speed usually 53kbytes & upload 24kbytes.
i check firewall & utorrent have an exception. please let me know whats the problem.

Not enough information to tell you what it is.
Is this a home broadband connection? if so, what make/model router? What ISP?
Is this at a school?
Is this at work?
