VIsta OS configruation folder

Post by satyre »

I am using Vista 32 Ultimate.

I want to save only the OS configurations that I made before reinstalling the Vista again, so that I can replace that folder without going through all the changes that I need to make one by one.

I don't know where is that information is saved.

Anybody knows where is that file in the Vista OS?

Go here and follow the directions for Vista to make an image of your HDD.

No one has any right to force data on you
and command you to believe it or else.
If it is not true for you, it isn't true.

Thanks Tony. That will work

I was looking for a file where all the OS configuration is saved, so that simply copy it and replace it in that folder after reinstalling the OS. Is there any file like that to do it?
