Post by Sykotic »

Hi, I've recently been getting very slow download speeds on my dsl, last night it was as low as 5.0 kb/s. I've been reading over the threads on how to use the optimizer but it all very confusing. Was wondering if anyone could help me on what settings to change.

Here's my info:

All you need to do with TCP Optimizer is click on optimal at the bottom. Then, click apply and reboot. This will provide you with the proper settings.

What speeds do you pay for from your ISP? Can you please provide a speed test from http://www.speedtest.net to a location near you?

It would also be very helpful if you could log into your modem and post your line stats from it. When logged into your modem look for your bit rate, margin, and attenuation then post the results here.

Using cFos Speed ? If you want to use TCP Optimizer, just uninstall cFos !
What makes you: "...waking up in the morning so excited about & wanna FLY out of the door ?"
