connection can't achieve desired speeds

Post by UltimateHigh1 »

I just got recent speed upgrade out of nowhere and on my first test, I managed to pull down a 7.5mbps at speedtest.net. Now, it's more along the lines of a 4.5 to 5.5 mpbs. My ISP said I should be getting speeds ranging from 6mb to 8mb but it's never happened more than once.

any ideas/tweaks on how i could get a bit more speed? I have a cable connection btw.
