4Gb USB Key - What Brand?

Post by purecomedy »

I'm thinking of picking up a new USB key. Given similar prices what brand is the best to get. When I looked into it a few years ago the OCZ brand was cheaper and faster than Kingston. I know that some OCZ sticks were buggy and unstable a few years ago.

What's the best choice today. I'm looking for speed and non-buggy.

I have a few of the Patriot Xporter XT and they seem fast and good. It is supposed to be water and shock resistant. I have dropped mine a few times, no problem. I believe that they have a lifetime warranty and it has a rubber case/coating, a usb extention cable and comes with a cord that you can hang around your neck! :D
I also have a Kingston DataTraveler, but seem to favor the Patriots...

I know that you are in Canada, so this is reference only;

Ken, Let me get this straight, you don't like the Celtics but you like the Patriots?

Well, half my work is done converting you to being a Boston fan...lol.
