in my humble opinion...

ifranview is the best for cropping and resizing. It's freeware and carries almost no resources when it's running.

I don't use ACDSee (it's supposed to be good tho)

anyway, maybe this link will help rivas- How to resize on image using ACDSee 8?

I hate the office pic manager!

I use photoshop and corel. I've tried ACDSee (prolly 8 years ago) and irfanview, fine progs but I need just a lil more powerful sw than they have.

If all you want is an image resizer get the XP power toy:

Can all be done via right click.
