Its almost a waste of time if your not running a 7800 or better card since it was pretty much made for them.

Doesn't have much for new scenes from what we've seen in the past. Yay..another benchmark for people to whine about how untrue and unrealistic in testing performance they are. :rotfl:

When people are in need they tend to be nice, so it is best to not judge a person until they are content.

I ran it with a slightly older driver within the last few months and with dual 6800 ultra's got around 2500 which was WAY lower than what it should have been.. updated the drivers to a newer version and pushed it up past 4700. I OC the cards a little and jumped past 4800. I was really impressed with the CPU test as I'm running my FX-55 at 3.0 right now. But the drivers really make the difference in this program ..and it shows better results from the 7800's right now. It was mostly made for the upcomming G71's and G80's or 7900 and 8000 series cards.

If ya look at the scores that the 7800 cards are producing minus the CPU scores you will see that it takes to them more than anything..and from the guys over at guru3d its pretty much a givin that everyone agree's that its made for the newer cards to hit the market..and CPUs for that matter so its not a matter of sell out its a matter of keeping up I reckon.

No, I'm saying if the new Nvidias came out and got like 15k then Futuremark would be selling out, but that isnt gonna happen.

I think Futuremark says quite a bit ahead of the tech that is obtainable either at its release or shortly there after.
