Mousepad for Laser Mouse

Anyone have one they like or would recommend? It needs to work with a laser mouse, and fit in an 8.5x11 space, give or take.

I've never had any problems with a just a plain old laminated top mouse pad. Didn't feel a difference using a rat pad either.

Others disagree though...

I don't even use ratpats anymore with laser rats. You don't need the friction you did with balled rats. Only need something if you have a reflective glass top desk...laser don't like those.

I have one from compUSA with a memory foam wrist pad, comfy, cheap.

I have some allsop one. Has a hard surface. Works good for my needs. I think it was made especially for optical mice.
