One that is tested on your motherboard make/model and proven fully compatible.
What are you goals? Are you looking for the highest overclock possible? Or just good stability?
My personal favorite brand is Crucial. If you are looking to overclock, Crucial also makes an ultra-high performance series, called Ballistix.

I'm not fond of the other common big names like Kingston, PNY. OCZ is a rather new-ish company, but with a very shady background of mis-representation of their product.
Mushkin is good, Corsair is very good. Viking. Nanya.
But basically, you can purchase right from Crucial, no raised prices on the middle man. And very good quality.

Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3500LL Pro TwinX (2x1GB) CAS2
Realizing the increasing need for greater system memory to take full advantage of memory-intensive applications while maintaining low latencies for best performance on the Athlon.64 platform, Corsair designed the XMS-3500LL PRO with the latest 64MBx8 high speed chips and specially designed Brain Power PCB. The latest real-world applications like Battlefield2 demand a lot more memory bandwidth. Moving system memory to 2GByte provides the necessary bandwidth to ensure ultimate gaming experience, improving performance by well over fifteen (15) percent. In addition to the total system memory, memory latency also plays a key role in overall performance. The new XMS-3500LL PRO SPD is programmed at Plug and Frag. latencies of 2-3-2-6-1T, making it the most ideal choice for the AMD platform. Other differentiating features include the enhanced PRO heat spreader for enhanced heat dissipation, and proprietary activityindicating LEDs that can aid in system troubleshoots.

When people are in need they tend to be nice, so it is best to not judge a person until they are content.

With your system your need tight timings, did you order 2x512MB?
Best bet is 1GB Sticks therefore you can run dual channel with 2GB ram and still keep the 1T timing, anymore then 2 sticks any size ram and your lose the 1T option.
Just a thought to futureproof your PC.
