Largest size for a folder?

Post by jmw1137 »

I've read online that Windows doesn't really have any size restrictions on how much data can be put in a folder. I'm ripping in all my music as WAV files (long story) so folder sizes are going to get huge. Does anyone have experience with really large folder sizes (like 60-80 GB per folder) to know if it's true that there's no restriction on folder sizes?

If it matters, I'm running Win XP (Home & Pro).

Thanks.

Thanks....as I mentioned in my original post, I know there's technically no limit I just wanted to hear from people who've had experience with folders being 60-80GB (or bigger) to see if they had any problems with them.
