I recently reinstalled XP pro on my laptop as part of installing SP2. Since the install, the screen size during booting has been very small. By this I mean there is a large black border around it. This is normal for a clean install of windows; however, it usually corrects itself during the first boot, which it did not this time. I tried to find a solution, and since it wasnt a big problem I ignored it. However, I have been trying to run some older games like Command and Conquer Red Alert, and these games seem to be subject to the same screen constraints.
Does anyone have any idea how I would go about resetting these constraints or even what to search for the find a solution? It is a Dell Inspiron 600m laptop. Thanks for any help.
