why can't thease other courntries send out more troops or the un for that matter it ticks me off every time another country is in trouble we are the first ones there... I'm sick of thease cowards that hide in caves behind mask that have no balls to fight alone toe to toe.... The more i hear story like thease the more i wished i would've joined the military..

Well IMO as the only real remaining superpower in the world some people might think of us as "big brother" so when s*** goes down we're there. Just my 2 cents. But this is pretty barbaraic(sp*) and I just can't believe they have to resort to kidnapping friggen citizens or tourists to spread their message. I've said it before and I hope they don't keep doing this but hate only begets hate.

Meanwhile we're here having a trial for our own soldiers which as bad as the photos may have been I'm sure the prisoners weren't just sitting there being polite, but that's a whole nother topic in it's own right and I have to go to work.

Maybe we should just send the John Lee Malvo over there as the next US hostage volunteer

It's quite possible that not many other countries other than the US and the UK think they have the right to police the world and simply step in when their allies ask them to.

It's awful to hear of these civilian murders. It's incredible that these niave barbaric idiots really think that they can get across their message by killing innocents. If anything it makes their please fall on deaf ears and all their point null and voice in the eyes of the people they're trying to convince in the first place. Idiots!

IMO...the real idiots are those who control the medium through which the message is relayed to the masses...Al Jazeera TV.

MAybe...just maybe if Al Jazeera would REFUSE to broadcast these barbaric killings...the criminals would turn to other means.

The terrorists WANT desperately to be heard. We should deny them the voice to do so.

Absolutely!

It is the reason why American TV refuses to show jackasses who run onto playing fields during televised sporting events.

This should be indicative that al-Jazeera is receiving monies from al-Qaeda. Why else would they be providing such a forum and advertisement for this vile and facinorous barbarity?
