QSIG Question?

Post by nagetech »

I've been rattling my head over this for awhile........

Can the QSIG protocol be used over the PSTN?

I have a lot of material on QSIG itself, but nothing beefy that could answer that question... :(

I'd appreciate any help....got a 7 page paper almost ready to go...just need to squeeze in that answer somewhere.......

thanks in advance

QSIG is not designed to be used with traditional PSTN (i.e., analogue local loop) connections. However, if you include ISDN connections as being part of the PSTN, then QSIG can work across these
