Never, evere, ever, buy a celeron. They suck to no end. They used to be decent chips but now, eesh.

A P4 will run circles all around a Celery. Stay far, far away from the Celery unless you simple don't care about speed.

Just look at the level 2 cache between those two. Not even close.

It depends what you're using the system for. If the applications you're using demands pure MHz speed Celeron is the way to go since the two use the same technology. But since cache do make processor faster and most applications benefit from cache P4 is almost always the way to go.
