Need DVD RW Suggestions ...
Ok With my other post you may have seen the issues I'm having with my Current DVD RW Drive
It's the Mitsumi DW-7801TE
I talked to Mitsumi and they require me to ship it to them and get it repaired .... Instead I'm looking to upgrade to an 8x DVD+/-R Drive .....
I'm looking at one of these at the moment but need some input from anyone who might have some experience with them.

Any suggestions on other Really good Drives that pretty compatible with multiple Brands of DVD/CD R/RW Media (Imation,Memorex etc ... ) are welcomed.
I need Black BTW

I have been a Plextor fan for the past few monthes. I would suggest waiting for the dual layer writers.... Well... depending on the cost of mediaMark wrote:that is the stuff i like for my plextor, burns at 8X all the time, zero coasters so far, i just got another 100 spindle from newegg for $89 this week.

I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.
dvdrhelp.com has alot of info on what media/drives are good.

Just bought a 50pack of RitekG04's.
Don't forget to look for updated firmware (for fixes) for that drive
