(wow i havnt posted here in awhile)

i know im a newb but it didnt come assembled and i have no clue on how to put it together! well i do, but im not too sure about what im doing...i dont want it to fall apart while im riding it..

so is there a website or something i can look at that gives some kind of directions? or is it better to take it to a bike shop and have them assemble it?

i would call a local bike store and ask them...what can it hurt and that way you know everything is put together correct

Ohhh....Fisher!

If it's a first time putting it together and you don't have all the tools you need..your foobared...

You'll need something to compress the headset in to the front steering tube...very thin wrench's for the wheel nuts...Phillips, straight, screwdrivers....someting to cut the brake cable housings and the cables themselves..You'll also need to know how to setup and adjust the brakes and the front and rear derailers....You'll also need a special wrench for the BB for your crank.

It's not hard to learn but I'd guess if you call around to the local bike shops, you could get it done for 50 bucks.

Buy a book on how to assemble and maintenance for your bike at a book store.

Wrenching your own bike will save you a bundle of cash. Just keeping the brakes and derailers working smoothly is sometimes a chore...

If you're not familiar with bikes, have a shop set it up for you. Probably about $50. To do it yourself, you would need to spend nearly that much on tools.

The Supercaliber is a very nice bike. If I remember correctly, the bottom bracket isn't your standard threaded set-up; I think it's pressed in.

Take it to a local independent bike shop. Stay away from the big chains stores. Make friends with the guys behind the counter. You'll get better service and you may gain a riding buddy or two.
