My Laptop keeps turning off by itself......WTF?

So ya, last few days, my laptop just shuts off.....Like I'll be playing CS or just surfing the net, and then it just shuts off...

Overheating? Virus?

I've had this laptop for close to 4 months, and it's been great till this past week...

However, I never turned off my laptop during these four months....thats a problem, isn't it....

Laptop specs? Also, who make the laptop?

sounds like overheating. check the fan--yea leaving a laptop on 24/7--dunno if that's so great. i think fan failure.

btw, how can u leave a laptop on for 4 months straight? Do u mean in hibernation mode when u're not using it?

Ya, I just leave my laptop on all the time...and I never use battery power...its always connected in my room....

Trying running prime95 or folding on it. If you dont hear a fan kick in that is the problem.
