w2k adding user w/admin desktop

i am running w2k pro and would like to add a user that has the
same rights as the admin and has the same desktop but different password.
right now i am loging in as an administrator. i would like to stop
loging in as an admin but i wold like to have all admin rights,
running the same app. have the same desktop. it will be administrator but under different name.
i know how to add user but dont know how to do all the rest.
i appreciate your help. thank you in advance

One way, once you've added the user, go to the admin group, and add the user to that group.

Easiest way to get to user manager, right click "My Computer", select "Manage"...you'll see local users and groups right there.

Desktop, well, easy enough to configure that users new generic desktop. If there's certain unique items on the Admins desktop, can go into C:\Documents and Settings\<users> and go into their desktop folder...copy stuff over. Or another way, create a neutral directory such as C:\Download\Transfer...and put stuff there from the Admin profile, then log off, and on as the new user...get what you need.

Here's info on how to create a default profile. I use this at work with creating images for our PC's & laptops and works like a charm.
