XDSL with a hub wont support more than Two pc's

Post by Liquid_Edge »

I was reading in the manual with my nortel networks modem that The modem will not support over two pc's on a hub. I thought this couldnt be true. So after setting up my modem and my hub I connected the third pc. It cannot browse at all. No connection. It connects fine with you unhook 1 of the pc's at a time. But the last one you hook up cant browse or do anything. There is no xdsl connection on any of them. There is traffic between them and the hub but no connectivity. Does anyone know a hack for this, or a workaround so that I can use three computers at once. i knew there had to be a catch to this xdsl crap vs adsl. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

The router should fix you up.... btw, xdsl as far as I know only categorizes the different ones available meaning adsl, sdsl, hdsl, and vdsl.
