alright im done lookin for MSDOS for free, is dos still sold at bestbuy or do i have to take a ride to FRYs, do they have it...

have you looked into freedos or equiv. or is msdos a must have??

Godvict, I'm curious why you want MSDos (especially an older version like 6.22) It can't read Fat32 drives, or anything but earlier filing systems like Fat16, 12 etc.

Just sys c: from a 98 boot disk, and use Dos7. If you don't want to boot to 98 just edit the msdos.sys file.

thx guys, but im using fdisk on win98 , now i have another ?, i was to duelboot win98 xp and linux, im not sure but i think linux will give the opion when boot to pick the os . right?

I'm sure Linux can be configured to, but I'm not a Linux expert.

There are tons of nice boot managers out there, some free.

Search google and find one you like.

The linux boot loader will give you the option of either booting to Linux or booting to XP whichl show up as DOS on the linux loader boot screen. XP will give you the option of booting up to either XP or to 98. That being said for it to work properly the order you need to install things is.
