Its the same old same old.

It applies the same types of tweaks you can get here. It probably also includes some caching and maybe even proxy like software.

So yes and no. It's true and it's also not true.

Flat out you won't be able to make an ftp site transfer any faster than your maximum speed allows. End of stroy.
If you get a 26.4K modem connection, theres nothing thats going to make you download data any faster than that, however caching and proxies can help on web pages to make it seem faster.\\And Maybe enabling more than 2 conncurent (another tweak available here) connections via http, and you can get more simultaneous connections to make web pages load faster on high speed connections.

But if they want you to buy their product, forget it.

Get the same great advice from members here, rather than fill somebodies pockets with your hard earned cash and not get the increased you had hoped for by reading their promising software.

Don't get me wrong, their software does have things that will help, but most of it can be found for free, anyhow, and the rest is hypothetical situations that you will never ever hit in the same way as they claim the software is capable of doing. Because in the real world, you go to lots of different web pages. Not the same thing over and over and iver. And if you do go to it over and over, like a forum, you need the forum to update every refresh of the page, because there may be new posts. Where if you use their software, maybe you won't get the same page refreshed and you may actually miss reading new posts until the next day or the next week, depending on how you have the http acceleration software set up to grab reviewed pages.......

I'll stop for now... just save you money and ask people here what you can do to help your connection!

if i could get cable or adsl, which one should i get?
here are the specs..

cable: 512/256 (costs chilean 45,000 pesos)
my friend has cable 320dl and gets 40k/sec during the afternoon.

adsl (static ip) 512/128 (costs chilean about 37,000 pesos meaning less than cable) i have this currently and get about 64k/per sec. but. problem is that i can't upload through mIRC... if u can help me.. plz say so.. i will give u lots of information that you request.

adsl (dynamic ip 512/128) (costs about 29,000 chilean pesos) same dl speed as static ip.. and yes i can upload through mIRC with this one.. but.. i get disconnects me after 24 hours.. which really pisses me off..
