Being that OOL is now capping people left and right, I'd like to know how ican make my IMESH stop allowing downloads, the closest I've gotten to this is only allowing one Upload @ a time, but still I wanna disable it COMPLETELY

That's one of the most offending spyware/adware programs out there, puts a horrible trojan on your computer, flashtrack, amongst countless others.
Pretty soon, you'll start getting Internet Explorer, and Explorer, crashes in flt.dll, you'll have to uninstall imesh, and manually delete the Program Files\FLT directory.

There is a clean IMesh and other P2P clients out there that was hacked by some guy calling himself Dr. Damn. The respctive software companies have done everything to make sure the files are not hosted anywhere but if you look carefully you can find it

I understand that we should share, but It's not my fault OOL is telling us to disable our uploads or risk getting capped. I'd switch to another p2p, but imesh is the only one that seems to work right on my PC. I dont think just becuase I disable my sharing that it will affect the whole file sharing thing for all the users that much. Besides, I never really shared much, I just downloaded stuff and cleared out my folder

So the request is for instructions on how to be selfish and take full advantage of someone elses work, giving absolutely nothing back? Go to the source:

I dont see why that last link was for, but as I've said before, NOT my fault OOL is being a pain in the ass and disallowing this kind of software (at least the upload) I'd switch to another P2P thing, but every other one always pumps my comptuer full of pop up ads, and annoying banners....
So, back to the original question, anyone know how to 100% disable uploads?

Many file sharing programs have self caps, as in you can set how fast your uploads go, I know direct connect and xolox offer this, Imesh might as well, if your upload is actually uncapped (I find this hard to believe) then just set a reasonable speed, like 10K or so. I'd point out other ways to restrict upload speeds, but it'd just lead to you finding a way to cut off people entirely (which you probably will anyhow, but I don't want any part of it). If you don't share, you just don't deserve to be on the network, and I'm not going to help you fraud other people.
