any course we have in common?

also another question... what does the (1), (2), (3) mean?

I looked thru the booklet and I don't get... help?

ELECTIVE CHOICES:

Select a first (1st), second (2nd) and third (3rd) choice from each elective group, for each term (Fall and/or Winter), where appropriate. Give serious consideration to your second and third choices, as unfortunately, we cannot guarantee you a place in your preferred course.

Ensure that you make the correct number of choices for each elective group and for each term in which electives are necessary in your program. It is your responsibility to meet all the obligations of your program requirements.
