I know :)

Just posted because it covers most of them, besides, some people think they're capped at another speed.

I'm w/ Verizon DSL, used to be capped at 1520/135
Now I'm capped at 768/128. Better than 56k :D

i gots AT&T here in Massachusetts, i have caps of 1500/300, but i've read places that say we have 256 kbits upload, but i have evidense that people can download from me at about 34-35 KB's which assures that i have 300 rather than 256 cause 256 in KB's is about 32 even. I guess i'm lucky, i seem to pay the same as others with ATT. Also, AT&T just came out with a new "ultra speed package" part of their new tiered services to try to compete with others and to attract more users. The new speed package that is offered in Chicago/california and it hink one other place is 3000/384 for practically 30 bucks more. I think it's a huge rip off but whatever. Also they have a slower speed package to offer to customers who just wanna upgrade from dial up that simply wanna be online all the time, but who doesn't care about super fast download speeds/uploads.

I wanna know more about this charter pipeline... is that in massachusetts? Cause if so... i wanna get my hands on it.. LOL

Although Comcast claims to be capped at 1500/128 my cable modem configuration says it's more like 1800/128. I rarely get anything above 1500 though.

at&t in massachusetts, costs 46$ monthly, doesn't look like it will be changing for a while at least. If your from Massachusetts, and you are trying to choose cable over dsl, definately go with cable.. especially if you can get AT&T as your isp.

Comcast (not pro) : 1800/128
Please note that the comcast cap is now 1800, not 1500.. Comcast has raised it.

Cableone.net 800/200 $55/friggin month ... plus $5 for modem rental
and they want $45/mth for 400/100 and about $125 for pseudo T1 .. it isnt even real T1 .. its just higher cable..
its a bunch of bull****. but since they have a monopoly on the broadband around here.. well they charge whatever they want.. i just want to know... there has to be a law against that..
AznStyl and me are in the same boat.. and im about tired of this over weighted tug boat of a thing.. but we have no upload/download caps .. so i dont want to bitch too much

ive been wanting to start a petition to have the prices lowered and/or the speeds raised .. i have told them on several occasions that they are FAR over the national average and they know it, and they dont care, and then they go on to brag about how big of a pipeline they have, they made some deal with the phone company, why they are not using the Satelite uplinks at the cable company i dont know...
Anyone know of a utility or program that i can get all of or a major portion of the cableone emails here locally and in the tri state area. . . i would like to start that email petition to force cableone to change the speeds or prices.
