I have used IE and Netscape and from my experience Netscape was noticeably slower. :)

Netscrape has been slow and crashes alot for me.

IE is fast (for me) and has not given me many problems.

Earlier versions of Mozilla seemed to be fast. RC3 was not (for me).

I also have used both Netscape and explorer.

From my experience IE runs things a lot smoother.

IE is my favorite. Opera has always givin me problems. Either with Java or something else like Flash. Does it work good with Windows XP? Does it still have that ugly look?

Speed tests taken right after each other.

Opera 6.03: http://www.dslreports.com/speedtests/65 ... 1023601789

IE6: http://www.dslreports.com/speedtests/72 ... 1023601746

IE gives way better results. Maybe the Java applet sucks or something. Browsing does feel a bit faster though.
