Cable Modem Service

Post by RASHID007 »

If I have a cable modem and the cable television wires running into my home, can I use the modem to get free internet without the cable company knowing?

That would be illegal....but to answer your question, this most likely won't work.

Most cable companies require that your modem is registered with them in order for you to get connected.
