rtcw---------too easy
rtcw---------too easy
iif you read the posts in here you would think that rtcw was a ground breaking game.
i beg to differ, i bought this game friday pm; and i am now already playing mission 19 (yeah on death incarnate) and been xmas shopping etc so no solid gameplay there
.
this is just q3 rehashed but set in ww2,the same commands work, so food for thought there.
save your money methinks.
if you want a ww2 challenge try "hidden and dangerous", an old game that with the uipdates rox

Like most FPS games, I got it for the multiplayer aspect. The single player aspect of the game I usually just play for a little bit just to get the feel of the game, enjoy it's engine, but with RTCW I actually enjoyed the single player aspect, only other game I've enjoyed the single player aspect of was Half Life.
I though the outdoor environments were incredible in this game, and the attention to detail, and the games AI. I mean, little details like, the first missile silo mission once you leave the crypts and get above ground....the first stone house, on the opposite side, facing the pond where your first parachute is....there's a kraut who lights a cigarette, smokes it, coughs a bit, eventually thows it on the ground and rubs it out with his foot.....details like that were cool.
Like I mentioned, I usually just play the multiplayer component of a game, but this one hooked me enough to blow through the singleplayer....just for the views and seeing how AI in games has progressed.
Looking forward to the new Duke....! ! !
