Radeon 8500 vs GeForce2 MX

Post by gmcd33 »

I have a question.

I currently have a GeForce 2MX. I can get a great deal on the Radeon 8500.

Will I notice a big difference in Q3 and Wolfenstein with the Radeon? I would imagine it would but what do I know. ;)

You will notice a difference at all resolutions, and your 3dmark2k1 score will increase nearly 200%

Dont listen to this person, as he does not own the card.

If it sucked, I wouldnt tell my friends (downhill, yard, etc) to buy it. In my case, misery does not love company.

The card is great, but if you want a similar product, pay $100 more for a Ti 500, because the 200 is just a Geforce 2 pro with pixel shaders and a few other little features tagged on.
