Just came on the noon News.

It appears that the Police working on a Tip Raided Pee Wee's Home and found over 2000 Films and Pictures of Child Pornography.

Pee Wee claims he is being set up???

What a sad ending to a Childrens Hero.

Hi Guy's

I just caught the story as i was watching the Noon News

It's the CBC a very reputable News orginization.

I was shocked to hear it and then kinda caught a bit of info.

I could be wrong on this so don't quote me or accept it a Bible, but i think they said the Raid was carried out on Nov. 16th and the story is just now breaking.

Hi to All

I was never a Pee Wee Fan, but the kids liked him i guess. When i was a kid i liked Jerry Lewis who as an adult i can't stand. Go figure.

All i knew was he was caught pulling his Pee Wee in a Porn Theatre awhile back and it cost him his career.

Now it seems he was making a bit of a comeback and he's now nailed with Child Porn, so it's something new here i think as the other had no bearing on kids that i know of.

Sad really that these things happen, but i guess it's to be expected.

I'm sure more News will follow on this now that it's out there.

While USA made no mention of Child Porn. this link certainly does.

Perhaps there is a reasonable explanation to it all, who knows, but it would appear not.

I am not judging him, simply reporting what is on the News and elswhere.

The partial staement below is taken from the article i mentioned above.

Polaroids do not sound vintage to me. i could be wrong as they are passe.

No one has stated that he was charged. Simply he was as i put it nailed in a Raid.

But the most disturbing claim in the story is that among the bawdy bounty seized from Reubens' gated mansion were 20 to 30 Polaroids of apparently underage boys, "some undressed, some performing solo sex acts," Enquirer editor David Perel tells PAGE SIX.

No problem CompGeek83 (as to flame).

As to the Enquirer, as much as we all devalue it, in many cases it is quite accurate and normally first to report , as they know their target audience well.

However i did not predicate this on the Enquirer, but on the CBC News which is far removed from the Enquirer.

The other article did quote the Enquirer, but offered more info re Polaroids.

It is a compilation of various news reports that will no doubt bring the final definitive findings in the matter.

It certainly does appear to me at least that there is more involved than just vintage adult art however, but to each their own in deciding.

It has no bearing on me and i could care less, however it is News

I always hated the little fag (even as a kid).

Paul Rubens was a member of the same comedy troup that produced Larraine Newman (Intial cast of Saturday NIght Live). His character, Pee-Wee Herman, was one of his many schticks early in his carrer. It was a money maker for him on the comedy circuit and landed him a HBO special (pre-movie and Playhouse.... funny as Hell!)

I found him quite funny. I will readily admit, it is a matter of personal taste.

The masturbation bust a few years ago was ridiculous. Spanking in a porn theatre hardly makes someone public enemy #1. I think it appropriate to wait until the facts are in about the "pictures" in this recent scandal.

Who knows any more whats going on. In no way has he attacked anyone and that's a positive.

Whether the Pictures etc. are Collectible or not?

Many people collect Erotica & i suppose there are varying standards to which these collectbles are held, in part Who You Are i suppose.

Some view it as Art, others as Porn, but pedophilia i think is viewed with distain by most and i believe that's were his problem lies.

The Polaroid is what caught my attention, it being a relatively new form of picture taking. Could this be considered a collectible, i do not know.

Anyway i'm sure we will be all sick of hearing about it before long with the News Coverage it will no doubt receive in the next while.

Polaroid photography started in the 1950's if I am not mistaken.
Either way, many men have some sort of erotica hanging about the house. If it has someone under 17 y/o involved, you had better have a damned good explanation for it.

I am curious as to why he was targetted for investigation.

Yes the Polaroid was out then.

I remember my Dad Won one for sales at the Company he was with.

It took 2 or 3 pics to get the lighting right to take a good one and once that was accomplished everyone would watch as the Film Developed in front of our eyes as if by magic.

The next words you heard were " Can i have that Picture Please"

The film was expensive and between ruined pics and the giveaways it's usage became very limited.

As fate would have it years later i to Won one as a sales incentive. I still have an SX 70 that i haven't used in years. ( i just dug it out as i forgot i still had one)

Somewhere it was stated that somebody had a financial reason for doing it (reporting it to the authorities ) David.

Hey it's Hollywood for goodness sake.

Yes i'm sure more will surface and the truth more apt to be brought out over time.

Whatever the outcome i'm sure his career will suffer greatly because of it though, guilty or innocent.

That's the sad truth.

How many here or that we all know have some Porn on their machines that is considered ok.

But viewed through the eyes of some, would be thought less than wholesome & indictable.
