I did it!!! I had a keg party this weekend and had a whole bunch of my friends over. Yesterday me and two of my friends went to the jewelry store and I bought her a 1 1/2 carat diamond ring! I waited till all my friends got about 8 pm or so. Then I said I would like to propose a toast. The first toast was to all my really wonderful friends. Then the second, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me and she said YES!!!!!!

WOW..Congrats.. Men still do the knee thing, I'm impressed and the ring sounds fabulous.lucky woman.

Her name is Heather! And we have not set a date yet, maybe after we both get out of shock!

I did not get any pics because little did I know she lent our camcorder out, but everybody was already here and that damn ring was burning a hole in my pocket so I went ahead and gave it to her. Yes, she did cry after about the first 5 minutes being silent because she was in shock.
