Hey I have SNET DSL that is usually around 1.2-1.3mbps/110kbps(low, but I never upload anything so who cares?) but I pay around $45.00 month for it. Well my parents do... anyway, Comcast offers a 1.5mbps/128kbps package for 29.95-39.95 depending on how many ips and what not. So, I was wondering what kind of speeds you get?Oh, and I'm positive no one in my area has cable internet (Well, I'm sure no more than 100 on the node, probably in the whole city!) So how has your experience been with comcast?
I have had Comcast at home for some time now. No problems.
1.5mbps+ most of the time(never goes below 1mbps. No contract and a little cheaper then DSL in my area.
Right now I have swbell dsl and @home cable.
Cable is faster and cheaper in my area. dsl
$39.99 + about $15 a month to be able to use
that $39.99 internet connect.
Comcast is $32 + $7 for eq....39.00
cheaper and faster dl....well cable
