Presidents daughter

Post by brembo »

This young lady has been burned twice in the last few days for trying to buy beer. She is a freshman in college and 19 years old. I know when I was 19 beer was pretty high on my list of to-do things. Anyways heres my questions:

1.) Where the heck is the secret service? I'm not gonna card a chick that has a buch of guys following her around with MP5's. Why doesen't she just get them to flash a little gun metal and get outtta trouble?

2.) Is it really a newsworthy topic anyways? How many undergrads get nailed for underage everyday anyways? I mean c'mon, the media is realy showing its true colors here. Clinton was accused of RAPE, and that was on the news a couple of times. Bush's daughter gets nabbed for trying to buy beer and its all over the place. Why are the powers-that-be in media making such a big deal of this?

My rant for the day, thanks for your time.

cause he is the president, so everything he does and his family does is national news, and people act shocked she's trying to get beer or whatever

what they don't realize is anyone her age that's what they do, heh, drink

it's not uncommon, but the media is trying to make us think it is, and they want stuff to post to get their ratings up always

Well, people might think it's important.

If he cannot teach his family right, how can he control a whole country eh?

something like that..

media=democratic

democrats=pissed that bush is president and want to make it a sad 4 years for republicans

I'm more than sure that at one point chelsea clinton drank bear in college and it NEVER made front page news. and chelsea spent a lot of her time in college while her dad was president.

ohh yea, i read the whole article on news.excite.com and it said that the bar tender called 911 when the girls tried to buy the beer. 99% of the time people just kick you out or call the cops regularly but not 911 for a minor offense like that. how much money do you want to bet the dude was a democrat or is directly affiliated with the democratic party.

its not hard to put the pieces together. its also sad that this kind of stuff gets publicized, imagine how the rest of the world views this, that all americans care about is scandal and how we discrase the presidents family just for ratings/vengance.

He is not in control of his daughter. SHE IS!
Last I checked a girl became a legal, self sufficient person at the age of 18.

At least his d1ck is still in his pants. Clinton couldn't control his own MEMBER, let alone another human being.

They are after him just like when Clinton got busted (although that was deserved).

I don't care what anyone says, she's 19, she is a grown woman!
She can make her own decisions and feel the pain.
The media just needs something about the president to smear.
They had SO MANY topics with Clinton that they are grasping at straws on this one. Admit it, he is a boring President, but I sure as hell like the fact that he isn't doing the same stuff as the last prez.

Media = Liberal. Expect the same stuff from them over the next 4 years. I'm sure his dog will be on the news after a while for publicly urinating in the rose garden.

Just a poll. Who here thinks that a 19 year old (new freedom and all) is a good way of judging how the parents raised their children?
I was 19 and a terror. Not because my parents failed, but because I wanted away from their control (although they DID know what was right).

Peace,
FunK

do you think the secret service agents would lose their careers if she was slipped a mickey at the bar and taken advantage of while they wait outside? Seems to me that we are trying to gauge a wrong. IMHO, wrong means wrong, no matter how big or small the infraction. Now the punishment should be fitting to the crime and she'll pay either now or later in life. so I guess the secret service doesn't have to protect her from herself right?
