Wireless connected but no internet access

Hi sir, i got a problem to connect to wireless network which is signal strength is very good. about 4 out of 5 bar. this unsecured network is come from building near to my home. at the taskbar shows its connected but at the wireless icon appears a yellow rectangle with exclamation. when i try access to the website using firefox, the server not found. i'm using window 7 64x with USB Wireless Network Card WiFiSKY 10G. REALTEK RTL8187 Wireless LAN Utility for network adapter. I did to change TCP/IPv4 ip address manually but it doesnt work. hope you can give a favor to solve this problem. i'm really appreciate it. tq

So you want us to help you figure out how to access a network that you probably don't have authorized use of?

The wireless network may not be connected to the Internet, or it may require additional configuration of clients (i.e. DNS, Gateway, IP, etc.)

actually thats a free wifi. i said that because there is no encryption keys & free wifi banners hanged around that building. so anybody have no problem to using that wifi. the problem is my window 7 connected but no access to internet. please give me your help. I'm really appreciate it.

i did what mr Philip said, manually configure IP,Gateway & DNS in IPv4. but not success. anyway for me to do?

See if it works when you're closer to it. Since wifi requires two-way communication, even if their network transmits a strong signal, your client computer may not be able to send that strong of a signal back to establish a reliable connection.

distance between my pc to the wifi quite closer. wireless keep on connected on the network but still lo luck to connect to internet. for your info the signal is very good. when i try to troubleshoot using Windows Network Diagnostic the problem was detected is Windows cant connect to the hidden network "wireless". what is that mean?

hi, are you on the latest drivers for your networking adapter? also please do the following:

start>run>cmd>ipconfig /release
start>run>cmd>ipconfig /renew

then do this:
start>run>cmd>ipconfig /flushdns

Did you check all your port and wireless device settings? Doesn't seem much problem. May be the device is not working fine.
