Hi
I am using Starhub cable connection 16Mbps with Windows XP
need help after my speed test went down to 2.03Mbps

try doing a tracert(don't type the quotes)
hold "windows loggo key" and press "r"
then in that window type in "cmd"
then type "tracert(space)[url]http://www.yahoo.com(enter[/url])

Then post your results. And make sure you don't post your I.P. address in the second Hop(second line)

what is your network setup? Also have you done a Power-cycle?(shut off Modem and router for at least 1 minute) Does your provider have a download limit after certain download data?(example if you exceed 100GB of download they will reduce your speed dramatically)
Also Post a speed test from speedtest.net and also do a pingtest at pingtest.net then copy "forum code"

Nope there is no download limit

Yes but i shut down the modem for about 10min cos i forgot abt it, do i need to shut down my com too?

Login modem and check Downstream/Upstream, SNR & Line Attenuation then post here !
