Download speed Drops after disabling some services

Post by MCpoolish »

Hi! I recently got a speedtest of 1.5mbps-1.61mbps and a ping of 10ms~20ms before the tweak was done. After tweaking some and disabling some services in services.msc seems to be that my speed drops from 1.6mbps to 300kbps~1mbps and ping goes crazy like 30ms~90ms. The thing is that i don't remember the services that I put disabled on it. Can anyone help me to restore it to defaults? I just did it cause it seems that my internet connection response seems to be slow after doing some Microsoft updates. I'll provide everything you need to know just tell me so. By the way I'm paying for 2mbps connection.

Thanks for the great help YARDofSTUF. One more thing, is there any services that i should enable/disable to greatly improve the responsiveness of my internet connection? or speed? or Ping times?

None that I can think of right now. I think it was just a coincidence.
